DDIA at the 2025 TAI Learning Days in Berlin

DDIA participated in the 2025 TAI Learning Days: Reimagining Civic and Democratic Futures, held on November 12–13 in Berlin as part of the inaugural Berlin Freedom Week. The convening brought together funders, civil society organizations, academics, and practitioners to move beyond diagnosing democratic decline and instead spotlight concrete, hopeful examples of democratic resilience and civic renewal.

Designed as a space to re-energize the democracy and philanthropy community, the TAI Learning Days focused on learning from real-world experiences of innovation and progress, even in contexts marked by repression and shrinking civic space. Through a series of collaborative “Inspiration Labs,” participants examined what has worked to strengthen democratic institutions, rebuild trust, shift narratives, and support inclusive civic engagement across diverse regions.
